Max Basile CPA

Max joined PTP as a partner in 2008 and quickly became known for his clear communication, straight-talking advice and ability to connect with clients from all walks of life. His honesty, accountability and willingness to have the tough conversations have helped many business owners make meaningful progress in both their personal and professional lives.

Having grown up in the Goulburn Valley, Max originally pursued accounting to help his Italian family better understand their finances. That early motivation still shapes his approach today.

Max splits his time between our regional and city offices, and has spent more than two decades working closely with small to medium businesses across a range of industries. He values long-term relationships built on trust, clarity and consistent support.

Outside of work, Max is happiest in the kitchen. Whether it’s a roast, pasta or fresh seafood, he loves planning, shopping and cooking for family and friends. It’s his way of staying grounded and connecting with the people who matter most.
